Calling the talented citizens of Parkland!
Parkland is excited to announce the 5th annual Parkland’s Got Talent competition, open to residents of all ages and talents.  Do you have a flair for dance or a juggling prowess? Does your canine companion do extraordinary tricks?  If so, please review the contest rules below and send us your submission!

Contest Rules

1. Eligibility

a. Open to all residents within the Parkland School District.

b. Open to all ages. Younger performers will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

2. Submission

a. All acts must submit either a link to a YouTube video or a DVD.

b. Audition videos should be no longer than 10 minutes. Actual performance will be limited to 5 minutes.

c. Audition videos must be received by April 27th, 2018.

d. Application should accompany video submission: Got Talent Application

e. Application and video may be submitted to:

f. All who submitted audition videos will be informed about their selection by May 4th, 2018.

3. Performance Acts

a. All acts must be family friendly.

b. All kinds of talent will be considered, including but not limited to:

i. Singers (soloists, duets, etc.)

ii. Dancers

iii. Acrobats (act must require no rigging)

iv. Jugglers

v. Magicians

vi. Ventriloquists

vii. Comedians

viii. Baton Twirlers

ix. Instrumentalists

x. Animal Acts (small animals only)

c. Garage bands and the like will not be considered for this competition.

4. Performance Night

a. All selected performers must be available by 5pm on Friday, May 18th, 2018.

b. The school will provide the following technical equipment:

i. Microphones

ii. Audio support

iii. Lighting

c. The performances will be judged live by a panel of judges.
